We were awarded the Queens Jubilee Award for voluntary service by groups in the community. This allowed the project to use the crown of the unsung hero on all of their documents.

The manager and 3 young parents attended the Queens Garden Party, this was a fantastic experience.

We were awarded the ‘Social Justice Award’ which recognises:

“Some of the best examples of active British Citizenship and commitment to a better society”

Urban 2 funding sadly ceased, the project received two awards which were:

‘Doing something with nothing’ and ‘Above and Beyond’

2010

‘The best community support group’

One of young parents attended this and was presented with the award.
