Deana Stone - Project Manager

Deana has been with the project for 11 years, with 30 years of experience working in the Community. She was elected in 2005 as a Director for Hartcliffe and Withywood Community Partnership and served for 2 years.

Deana was a Teenage Parent and lived within the community, her children were raised in Withywood and she has always said she couldn't of chosen a better place to raise them. Deana is a qualified Youth and Community Worker, qualified counsellor and drugs worker. Deana set up a Tenants Association in 1987 which still running.

Laura Bergh - Training Officer and Project Worker

Laura has been with the project for 11 years. She is a qualified youth worker and qualified in 2009 in Teaching in the lifelong Sector. Laura works closely with other projects including partnership with Hartcliffe Early Years Centres to deliver Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities to local Parents around the community. Laura developed within the project and has enjoyed the work as its always changing to meet the needs of new parents. Laura has a 20 year background in youth work and has children of her own.

Becky Jenkins - Project Administrator

Becky has been with the project for 7 years. In this time she has gained many qualifications and recently undertaken her NVQ Level 3 in Administration and Business allowing her to become our Project Administrator. Becky has worked as a creche worker and peer educator while at the project, and has previously worked for HWV as a parent engagement worker, through which she helped set up a youth program called the Hang Out. Becky has sat as a Director on the URBAN2 Board of Directors and for the Teenage Parents Project. She has always lived locally and her child has gained and developed through the project.

Donna Lucus - Senior Creche Worker

Donna has been with the project for 8 years, and through the project complete and passed her NVQ Level 3 in Child Learning and Development. She is trained in First Aid, Child Protection, Equal Opportunities and domestic violence and makes sure that all her team are on the same training to enhance understanding and knowledge about situations they may face. Donna has seen the project develop and make a successful move from St Andrews Church to the Tenants Centre, this has given continuity within the creche, benefiting the children and the staff team. Donna and her team provide the children with stimulating activities and individual focus allowing them to develop and flourish, Donna has a fantastic rapport with both the children and the parents.

Danielle Bryant - Child Contact Centre Support Worker

Danielle has been with the project for 5 years. In this time she has been a peer educator in local schools, supported service delivery with Project Workers and dedicates her time to the Child contact centre working alongside Deana and Donna. Danielle has taken many courses and training including Sex and Relationship training Level 2, C-Card Training, Equal Opportunities, Child Protection amongst many others. This has raised her knowledge and skills allowing her to deliver sessions to the members.
